Life has been more easier for us because of the internet. Communication have been made more easier through the internet. You can easily communicate with your friends and loved ones across the world. You can normally get spyware from installing a free software in your computer, or adding some functionalities in your browser, or by clicking a button on pop-up adds.

A spyware can bring negative effects on your computer. This can range to minor annoyances to even serious problems. What's alarming is not all people are aware of the effects of spyware on their computers. You can barely notice the effects at first. But as more and more spyware hits your computer the bigger the problem will be.

The biggest and probably the most obvious effect of a spyware-infected computer is the slowing down of the processes of the computer. Opening up files, documents may take longer time than usual even if you are not running any other program. This is simply because spyware is a large program. It will take up a large space in your computer making it slow down.

The user may also notice some added features on their web browsers. Spyware can add unwanted features in your web browser. This can be annoying. Most of the time your hompage will also be changed. Pop-ups are also expected.

But the most critical effect that spyware can have is when it gathers your personal information. Spywares can track your online activity. It can even track important informations such as your bank account details and social security number.
